The Royal Day on the Green held on Friday 29th April was a tremendous success with a large turnout from the community. The weather was kind - a bit breezy but dry - and there was lots on offer including a BBQ, tombola, face and plate painting, a cake decoration competition, a raffle, crazy golf and live music. Afternoon tea was served and there were fun stalls such as count the bunnies, splat the rat and hook the duck. The event was well supported and a very big thanks goes to Tom Meldrum and his team for all their hard work in planning, organising, setting-up and dismantling everything. Apart from putting on a fantastic day Tom and his team have also managed to raise over £1500 for the Toll Green Improvement Fund - a magnificent sum! Thank you to everyone who helped and also to those who came along and supported what truly was a Royal Day on the Green!
